The chemical and enzymatic synthesis of poly(ADP-ribose)
Abstract
dc:descriptionPoly(ADP-ribose) synthesis and degradation are important cellular processes associated with the DNA damage response and many other pathways. Traditionally, these processes have been challenging to study due to the heterogeneity associated with the synthesis of poly(ADP-ribose). Discussed here are methods for the synthesis of homogeneous poly(ADP-ribose) as well as the biology that is enabled by these synthetic efforts.
