The Parenting Narrative Interview: A New Method for Investigating Parental Identity
Abstract
dc:description"In a second phase of analysis, parenting voice was interpreted as reflecting ""conjointness"" of parental identity. Specifically, We parenting voices were seen as representing a conjoint parental identity. The relationship between parental identity conjointness and corresponding measures of the parents' behavioral involvement in the five parenting domains was examined in this second analysis. Overall, use of We Voice in the Arranging and Planning domain was interpreted as signifying conjointness of parental identity at an ""executive"" level that has a special link."
