Characterization of Resistance to Gray Leaf Spot [Pyricularia Grisea (Cooke) Sacc.] in Perennial Ryegrass and Tall Fescue
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe tall fescue population was analyzed using bulked segregant analysis (BSA) with random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers to identify DNA markers associated with resistance to gray leaf spot. Although polymorphic bands were identified between the resistant and susceptible bulks, these markers were not confirmed on the entire population to be significantly associated with resistance.
