Engineering and Characterization of a Single Chain Antibody Specific for Murine CD28

Finally, a novel method of measuring the thermal stability of engineered antibody fragments using yeast surface display and flow cytometry was produced. This method allowed for the rapid determination of relative temperature stability without the need to produce large quantities of protein. This method compared favorably to other methods relying on soluble proteins and will facilitate the engineering and characterization recombinant proteins in the future.
