Testing the Nonextensionality of Support Theory: A Generalization to Dual Disjunctions
Abstract
dc:descriptionThese results show ST generalizes to dual disjunctions. Slight increases from detailing out all hypotheses simultaneously were not statistically significant, implying the extensionality principle holds with dual disjunctions. Implications for ST, the conjunction error, overconfidence, and subjective probability research in general are discussed.
