The Immediate and Sustained Effects of the Reading Recovery Program on Grade One and Grade Four at -Risk Students: A Longitudinal Study

The results of this study indicate that the Reading Recovery Program is an early intervention reading program that promoted compensation for the under-developed literacy skills of the at-risk students in this study. Further, the effects of the Reading Recovery Program continued to have a positive impact upon the Reading Recovery students three years after their exit from the program.
