Transfer of Entrepreneurial Training in Small Enterprise Development in Ghana
Abstract
dc:description"An important finding of this study was that all informants felt a need for follow-up and further training. They needed instructor motivation and reinforcement to support their self-motivation to transfer what they learned. They wanted training to be a continuing experience, like ""a permanent school."" The results of this study suggest that entrepreneurial training should be viewed from the perspective of sustaining learning and transfer through follow-up and continuing education. Longitudinal research designs are recommended for future studies into the transfer of entrepreneurial training so that transfer initiation as well as transfer maintenance can be assessed."
