Complaint Talk in Korean Conversation

Abstract

dc:description

The analysis of complaints in this study suggests pedagogical implications for second/foreign language teaching. CA pays close attention to the details of interaction such as the sequencing of actions and the composition and construction of turns. Therefore, the CA analysis in this study provides practitioners and materials developers in Korean language education with valid descriptions of how the action of complaining is done in naturally-occurring talk, and hence with legitimate bases for their teaching and materials development.
