Flow Characteristics and Heat Transfer for Pressure and Electric Field Driven Laminar Flow With Temperature-Dependent Properties in a Pipe With Irregular Cross Section
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe finite element method is employed to solve the temperature-dependent problems of underground cable systems under pressure and/or electric fields. The temperature-dependent solutions have a large effect on the secondary flow and Nusselt number. However, it has only a minor effect on axial velocity and friction factor.
