An Exploratory Study of Athletes' Perceptions on Athletic Scholarships
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe purpose of this study was to investigate different aspects of the athletes' perceptions towards athletic scholarships. The data were anaylzed by doing a frequency distribution and corresponding percentages for all items; by doing a factor analysis, coefficient alpha test for reliability on scale items; and by using analysis of variance. There were 61 total teams participating with 30 being males and 31 being female. The teams represented ten sports in which both men and women competed.
