A convex solution to receding horizon control of switched linear systems
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe uniform stabilization of discrete-time switched linear systems subject to a strongly connected switching constraint is exactly solved for finite-path-dependent controllers with finite horizon knowledge of future switching modes. Conditions for the existence of both a full-information state-feedback controller and a dynamic output feedback controller are given in the form of finite-dimensional systems of linear matrix inequalities. Controller synthesis is accomplished with no unnecessary assumptions by solving any feasible system of linear matrix inequalities from an increasing sequence of such families.
