Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for herbicide detection
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe purpose of this research was to develop polyclonal antibodies to the soybean herbicides clomazone (2- ((2 chlorophenyl)methyl) -4,4-dimethyl-3-isoxazolidinone), imazaquin (2- (4,5-dihydro-4-methyl-4-(1-methylethyl)-5-oxo-1H-imidazol-2-yl) -3-quinolinecarboxylic acid), and metribuzin (4-amino-6-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-3-(methylthio)-1,2,4-triazin-5(4H)-one). The herbicide-specific antibodies were to be used in an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for herbicide detection in soil.
