In this thesis, we studied the model combination of adaptive filters to improve the fault tolerance of adaptive filters. The classic adaptive filter structure and algorithm is presented. The concept of model combination and transform domain adaptive filters and their contribution to fault tolerance of a system using adaptive filters is studied.
