An exploration of texture synthesis with neural networks

Textures are a integral part of Computer Graphics, and creating realistic textures is a challenging task. Recently, Neural Networks have made significant advances in the area, and have shown great promise in creating believable textures. Despite this, there exist some problems with their use in this field.Here, we explore those advances and the issues that arise in developing a pipeline for generating high quality textures.
