<p>It is the purpose of this study to consider the question, what are the administrative responsibilities and guidance duties and goals of a high school dean of girls? While no attempt will be made to analyze her effectiveness as dean, attention will be given to. the numerous kinds of tasks which a high school dean of girls faces daily, at frequent intervals, or annually.</p>
