Neuroblastoma: A Theoretical Dose Dependent Study With Therapeutic Implications
Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>Neuroblastoma is the most prevalent extracranial childhood solid tumor with several stages of disease. While many children have an aggressive metastatic form of the disease, spontaneous regression has also been well documented. Individualized treatments are required due to the spectrum of disease staging, with MTD not necessary for many patients. Herein I propose several theoretical experiments that I believe will elucidate potential therapeutic treatment options. New dosages and combinations of drugs may be the key in preventing the relapse of NB.</p>
