Estudio de prefactibilidad para la instalación de una planta de condimento y especias a base de ají páprika en polvo esterilizado (Capsicum annuum)

The purpose was to determine market, technological, economic, financial and social viability for the installation of a processing plant for Ají Páprika (Capsicum annuum). The focus was motivated by the rise of new trends in the consumption or preparation of healthy meals or products with the least amount of artificial elements. The product offered is a sterilized powdered seasoning based on paprika chili, abundant on the Peruvian coast, beneficial for health and frequently used in the preparation of national and international dishes. Likewise, it has medicinal properties to reduce cholesterol levels in the blood, as well as the production of red blood cells and the improvement of oxygenation. In the study of macrolocation, it was decided that Lima province be the department to locate the company and metropolitan Lima the micro location chosen. The size of the plant would be determined by the market, this being 402 073 kg/year, which will require a plant capacity of 358 651 kg/year, for which it requires having 7 machines and 16 operators to carry out activities. both machined and manual. The production program for each year of the project was estimated according to the demand for each year and the estimated area for the plant is approximately 1200 ¿2. The total investment was estimated at S/ 3 018 790 considering tangible and intangible assets with a working capital of S/ 1 252 230. Finally, the economic and financial evaluation showed an economic GO of S/ 449 531 with an IRR of 33,65% and a recovery period of 4 years and six months and a financial GO of S/3 731 089 with an IRR of 59,08% and a period of recovery of 3 years, which means that the project is profitable, viable and sustainable.
