dc:description.abstractIt was the purpose of this study to: (1) trace a brief history of the sonata up to the Classical period; and (2) analyze and compare Brahms' Sonata (E-flat major) for Clarinet and Piano, Op. 120, No. 2 to that of Hindemith's Sonate for Clarinet and Piano.
