A prática pedagógica na educação infantil em um Centro de Referência de Educação Infantil (CREI) de João Pessoa

This course conclusion paper was built having as general goal to analyze the teaching practice of the teachers in the CREI. We approached in the first chapter a brief history about the Children Educations in Brazil, in order to make a relation to the changes occurred until present days. In the second chapter, we dealt with the teaching practice in its overall context, in order to make a relation with our personal experiences in classrooms we have observed in the CREI. In this perspective, we presented the results in terms of a qualitative research of the teaching practice of the teacher of the Children Education, as well as his conceptions concerning this area. It deals with a qualitative research which had as field a CREI of the municipal schools, being observed four classrooms and four teachers. We used as sources of investigation a questionnaire with subject questions and the weekly observation, counting on the field diary. The analysis of data showed us the teachers ́ teaching practice need constant changes, where the seeking of diary improvement gives from new paths, new findings and then facilitate in this way, the mediation of their practice.
