Identification and evaluation of the key attributes of project management culture (an investigation into the work-related values and beliefs of project management professionals)
Abstract
dc:description.abstractAccording to relevant theories of professions, a profession creates and maintains its relatively unique work culture that can be minimally defined as a set of work-related values and beliefs shared by members of the profession. Professional culture plays an important role in determining people's work behaviours at the workplace. Project management (PM), as a newly-emerged profession, is assumed to have its own professional culture, ie., a PM culture. The purpose of this study was to identify and evaluate the key dimensions of the PM culture.
