International market entry strategy and performance: an empirical study of Australian business ventures in the People's Republic of China
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis study examines the relationship between a firm's external and internal factors, international market entry strategy, and long-term performance. The purpose of the study is to test if foreign entry strategy into China by Australian companies has an effect on a firm's long-term performance, and to what degree. A conceptual model is developed based on extensive literature review and using modified constructs, to develop new constructs from variables not previously measured.
