Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis thesis is an attempt to explore post industrial society and how modern industry can become part of the urban experience. Through the design of a nanotechnology research laboratory, I was able to discover a connection between modern architecture and nanotechnology which revolved around the topics of scale, layering and revealing.
