Abstract
dc:descriptionThis thesis examines philosophical, psychological and sociological aspects of concept of love and death. The aim - to carry out analysis and interpretation of dance for cameras. The final part consists of two parts. Part I - theoretical, part II - practical. Theoretical part is divided into sections which have sub-sections. The first section presents theoretical approach of love and death phenomenon. The critical analysis is developed on the basis of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross „Apie mirtį ir mirimą“, Vladimir Solovjov „Meilės prasmė“, Philippe Aries „Mirties supratimas vakarų kultūros istorijoje“ and Agnės Budriūnaitės „Meilės ir mirties dialektika“. The second chapter analyzes dance for camera: concept of dance for camera and its relationship video-art, synthesis of video-media and dance, grammar question of the dance, expression of feelings in the videos, text and montage in dance for camera. The third section provides description of the practical work and the following aspects are discussed: grounding of the concept of the piece of art, reasoning and strategy of movements’ selection, performance plan, filming and editing stages of the piece and discussion of the results. The practical part is also related to the analyzed theories and works of art.
