Stochastic Sequential Resource Allocation and Passenger Assignment in Aviation Security Systems

Abstract

dc:description

Next-generation aviation security systems need not merely be makeshift political solutions for mending complex problems; they can be the result of modeling, analysis, and planning. This dissertation pro-actively aims to address potential areas of concern that are likely to draw the attention in the future, and addresses some of the challenges most recently identified by the Transportation Security Administration.
