Abstract
dc:descriptionChapter 5 is devoted to the derivation of modular equations analogous to relations given by Ramanujan in Chapter 21 of his Second Notebook. We also use trigonometric interpolation to write many of Ramanujan's identities in terms of the Weierstrass ℘-function.
