A Genetic Analysis of the Salmonella Typhi Host Range
Abstract
dc:descriptionGenetic hybrids of S. typhimurium-S. typhi constructed by P22-mediated transduction remain unable to expand the host range of S. typhi to include mice. However, construction of genetic hybrids is useful for identifying linkage discontinuities between these species that are undetectable by other techniques.
