In Vivo Studies of DNA Synthesis in Escherichia Coli Are Consistent With a Discontinuous Model of DNA Replication
Abstract
dc:descriptionDuring our research we also found that the identification of replication intermediates in some cases has been mistaken by the presence of polyphosphate species. We show evidence that these polyphosphate species are not replication intermediates, and we go further into developing a simple method to analyze and quantify the accumulation of polyphosphates in E. coli cells.
