"The Feasibility and Profitability of the ""Quick Germ"" Process for Ethanol Production From Corn"
Abstract
dc:description"Each modification of the economic model for the ""Quick Germ"" process proved profitable and retrofitting a dry-grind ethanol plant with a germ recovery facility was justified. The ""Quick Germ"" process has the potential to add $65 to 110 million/yr in added revenue for the dry-grind ethanol industry based on 16.57 million tonnes (652.7 million bu) milled per year."
