Analysis of Soil Splash Erosion Under Simulated Rainfall

Threshold energy based on the regression results, required to initiate soil splash, was dependent upon soil type, with greater clay content soils exhibiting a greater threshold energy. Soil splash rate increased with increasing kinetic energy, with large differences between soils. Soil loss decreased with an increasing soil clay content and soil loss increased with decreasing soil organic matter content.
