Folding Thermodynamic and Kinetic Characterization of Small Model Proteins: Lambda Repressor, U1A, Trpzip2 and PAO -12
Abstract
dc:descriptionComplete prediction of the folding processes for complex protein molecules through first principles is currently not possible (2003). Here we take an empirical approach towards a better understanding of the protein-folding problem, through thermodynamic and kinetic characterizations of several small model proteins. We were able to identify many complex behaviors that have not previously been seen.
