The Evolutionary History and Conservation of Speyeria Idalia (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae)
Abstract
dc:descriptionMicrosatellite data were concordant with previous analyses in that they indicated the Pennsylvania population was highly differentiated. Moreover, the greater resolution provided by microsatellites indicated the effects of recent habitat fragmentation for Midwestern populations when compared to populations in the Great Plains, in the form of increased genetic differentiation and lower levels of within population genetic variation.
