Abstract
dc:descriptionThe dissertation concludes by broadening the discussion to the larger Japanese society in the hope that lessons learned from one age-integrated facility can illuminate the urgency of re-engaging the generations in an aging society and provide some directions to improve the quality of life for all as we approach the twenty-first century.
