Abstract
dc:descriptionThe meaning-space thus generated individually and collectively can be captured by the concepts of liminality and the zone of proximal development. These concepts, with some shifts in theoretical foci, cast light on the radical analytical and integrative movements characteristic to migrants' daily experience. It is in this dynamic meaning-space that each individual actively participates in historical processes of individual and collective formation and re-formation.
