Dietary Protein Regulation of Insulin Sensitivity and Glucose Homeostasis
Abstract
dc:descriptionTaken together, these data suggest that HPD, high in leucine, modifies glycemic control by reducing the regulatory role of insulin and peripheral disposal of dietary CHO and upregulating hepatic gluconeogenesis under fasted conditions.
