Abstract
dc:descriptionAfter investigating current densities obtained from methanol oxidation, osmium apparently promoted the reaction on a platinum surface. However, osmium is a less effective promoter on a Pt(111) surface than ruthenium at low potentials, advantageous for fuel cell application.
