The Development of New Methods for the Introduction of a Vinyl Unit Using Silicon-Based Cross -Coupling Reactions

Abstract

dc:description

"Two unsymmetrical, differentially substituted 1,2-bissilylethylene reagents were prepared and subsequently examined in sequential cross-coupling reactions. These reagents successfully react in the first coupling with aryl iodides and an electron-deficient alkenyl iodide under ""fluoride-free"" conditions. The second, fluoride-activated cross-coupling was explored."
