Cross-Linked Polybenzyl Ether and Polyglycerol Dendrimers for Monomolecular Imprinting

Abstract

dc:description

Dendrimers containing a glycoside core were synthesized by direct coupling of a acid chloride dendron to a glycoside or by attachment of an azide dendron to a core containing alkyne groups using copper-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition. The glycoside dendrimers displayed chiral activity that increased after the dendrimers were cross-linked. However, after core removal the dendrimers were optically inactive.
