"Finally, a method to rapidly pattern and assay Nanodiscs using microfluidics was developed. The technique uses microfluidic channels to pattern rows of Nanodiscs on a glass slide, and then deliver multiple analytes in perpendicular rows to create a ""matrix"" assay. This successfully characterized the binding of steptavidin to biotinylated lipids and annexin to phosphoserine lipids in Nanodiscs."
