Abstract
dc:descriptionThe future direction of aviation security system design involves creating a system of systems with layers of protection, and exhibits flexibility to quickly protect against new threats. This dissertation provides methodologies that increase security and passenger throughput by efficiently and effectively utilizing limited screening resources, while responsively adapting to changing threat environments.
