Finishing Processes for Zein Biodegradable Films

Abstract

Lamination and coating processes of zein-oleic acid films provided films with range of tensile properties, gas barrier properties, and thermal properties. The range could make zein-based films potentially useful in packaging applications for fresh produce of different respiration rates.
