Relationship Between Joint Performance and Geometrical and Mechanical Properties of Concrete Joints Subject to Cyclic Shear
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe ratio of crack width to maximum aggregate size is a relevant value that should be used when describing joint characteristics rather than the crack width. The results showed the critical need to systematically establish a shear stress level that is appropriate for different types of aggregates and for different ranges of crack width.
