Evolutionary Based Methodology for Form -Finding and Design of Tensegrity Structures

Abstract

dc:description

The capability of the new form-finding method is further extended to provide a total design package which can both create and optimize tensegrity structures, by adding structural analysis and optimization criteria to fitness evaluation. As an example, tensegrity towers for mobile communication are designed.
