Farmland Price Discounts and Farm Capital Structure
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe magnitude of the discounts is similar to those found previously by Featherstone et al. (1993) for financial institutions liquidating farmland, and by Pulvino (1998) for the aircraft industry. Discounts are smaller than those found by Scott (1991) for financially distressed farmers.
