Integration of Strategy and Economics: Triangulating on Agribusiness Competitiveness Through Strategy and Economic Theories
Abstract
dc:description"Based on the results, this study concludes that the use of technical efficiency analysis using the DEA method as the basis to develop theoretically grounded strategic groups is a possibility. This efficiency group development can be classified as a ""deductive"" or a posteori approach, since there is no conceptual definition of efficiency groups in strategic groups literature. On the other hand, strategic groups (resource and structural) are regarded as a ""inductive"" approach, since it is developed based on a priori or predefined strategic groups concept. This study contributes to the management strategy literature by applying efficiency analysis in the competitiveness measures."
