Structural Equation Modeling of Binary Preference Data
Abstract
dc:descriptionBased on the asymptotic distribution of marginal sample proportions a family of statistics for testing sparse binary contingency tables under multinomial sampling is proposed. These statistics are used to assess the goodness of fit of Thurstonian models for binary preference data.
