Projection Methods for Improved Performance in Adaptive Systems
Abstract
dc:descriptionFurther, there are parallel and serial methods for reusing the data. This allows the system designer even greater flexibility in the implementation of the adaptive system. These methods may be further enhanced by the use of acceleration techniques originally developed in a row-projection framework. Use of all these techniques is explored in a number of applications including system identification, channel equalization, two-dimensional adaptive processing, adaptive interference suppression, and adaptive fault tolerance. In each application, significant advantages were discovered to using the projection algorithms and framework.
