The Periodic Schur Decomposition in Linear Systems and Control

Abstract

dc:description

Lastly, we consider the use of the periodic Schur decomposition in solving two-point boundary value problems. We present simple, yet powerful, characterizations for the fundamental properties of solvability and conditionability. We also show that the Forward/Backward form yields simple expressions for Luenberger's boundary recursion procedure.
