A Study on Several Radar Techniques Used for the Estimation of Ionospheric Plasma Drifts
Abstract
dc:descriptionA new algorithm is developed for a faster ionospheric drift analysis instead of the line fitting method used in the original radar interferometry technique. Comparisons between the revised and the conventional radar interferometry techniques indicate a very strong match between the two methods. The 3-m irregularity drifts are also found to be in good accord with the bulk plasma motion during spread-F events.
