Advanced Imaging Through FOV and Aperture Manipulation

Abstract

dc:description

The fourth system is an HDR imaging device which uses a pair of mirrors to capture multiple copies of the same scene with different exposures. An HDR image is constructed by fusing all the copies together. Compared with other existing techniques, the advantages of the proposed method are: (1) the mirrors can be treated as an accessory of a regular camera as the mirrors are placed in front of the camera, and (2) it is capable of capturing HDR images in real time using only a single camera.
