Inverse Problems in Hybrid Systems With Application to Power Systems

In the context of power systems, performance in the form of limit cycle behavior is undesirable as it deteriorates the quality of supply. At a lower voltage level, hybrid limit cycles are primarily induced due to the interaction between switching devices. Locating such a behavior is another inverse problem that is considered in this work. Proposed algorithms are general and many other applications beyond power systems can be effectively captured in the formulation.
